Nigeria: Sheraton Abuja Hotels Hosts Diplomatic Bazaar for Charity

Recently, The Management of Sheraton Abuja Hotel set their sails once more on Community Development as Mr. Morten Ebbesen the General Manager of the Hotel opened up the Hotel's latest beauty "The Penelope Garden at the Jungle Bar to host 42 wives of Heads of Missions for a charity Bazaar for less privileged children within the Abuja Rural Community.

The association known as A.S.O.H.O.M (Association of Spouses of Heads of Missions) prepared various fun indulging activities for families in a bid to raise funds for less privileged children in Abuja. The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria-Her Excellency Hajia Turai Umaru Yar' adua added the necessary grace and clout to the event as Special Guest of Honor.

The event featured various mouth-watering dishes, snacks and deserts from various countries, alongside a children's corner for face painting/arts/crafts and live Music provided by Sheraton Abuja's jazz band.

Many other attractions consisted of souvenir and gift sales. The turnout was large and the food was worth it. A member of the Sheraton Abuja jazz club even sang for charity with her new baby!!!

The climax of the event was the pronouncement of the raffle prizes won which were made up of 2 round trip tickets "Abuja-Cairo" provided by Egypt Air and meal vouchers provided by Sheraton Abuja Hotel.
