Gambia: 2009/10 GFA 1st Division League Fixtures Released

The Gambia Football Association has released the fixtures for the 2009-2010 First Division League season, starting Saturday, December 19, 2009.

Division One returnees, Gambia Ports Authority, will start the campaign facing off against Samger, while title holders, Gambia Armed Forces, will start their title defense against Gamtel.

Teams will be playing twice in the week as it was the trend last season. The five identified venues hosting the matches are Serrekunda West mini-stadium, Serrekunda East mini-stadium, Manjai Kunda mini-stadium, Brikama Box Bar mini-stadium and the Independence Stadium.

First week action will see the following match-ups:

GPA vs Samger

Hawks vs Bakau Utd

Brikama Utd vs Interior

Wallidan vs Sea View

Steve Biko vs Real de Banjul

A/Forces vs Gamtel.
