Nairobi — South African President Jacob Zuma has postponed his visit to assess Zimbabwe's troubled power sharing agreement after the feuding parties missed a deadline to kick start negotiations but his advisors have expressed impatience over delays to conclude the talks.
Regional leaders at a summit in Maputo Mozambique on November 5 gave President Robert Mugabe and his coalition partners 15 to 30 days to sort out their differences.
But the 15 day deadline to resume the dialogue elapsed without any meeting between the negotiators. The South African government says it now expects the Zimbabwean crisis dealt with by December 5.
President Zuma who was mandated by the Southern African Development Community (SADC) to facilitate dialogue between Mr Mugabe, Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai and Deputy Prime Minister Professor Arthur Mutambara will now visit Zimbabwe on December 6.
But officials said there was a possibility that Mr Zuma would come earlier if there is no progress.
Meanwhile, the negotiations from Zanu PF and the two MDC formations were due to hold their first meeting later today.
The meeting would come against a background of worsening relations between the MDC factions and Zanu PF.
At the weekend Mr Tsvangirai's MDC blamed the delays in initiating dialogue on a lack of "sincerity and faithfulness to resolve the outstanding issues" by Zanu PF and the rival MDC faction.
The deadline set by the SADC troika for the resolution of outstanding issues has once again been missed.

On the day that sellout Tsvangirai met negotiators from all the three parties, only Zanu-pf was fully represented. His own sellout faction (MDC-T) had only one negotiator present (Biti) and Mutambara's factions (MDC) was represented by Mutambara himself as both negotiators were out of the country on official business.
How and why then should the sellout party blame others and not itself for delaying the start of the negotiations? Ministers Welshman Ncube and Misihairambwi-Mushonga cannot be blame for the delay because they were on official government duty out of the country.
The conferences they had gone to attend were more important than sitting down to tell or remind MDC-T of what they already know; that is, they should start campaigning for the removal of sanctions which they asked for in the first place, they should cause the dismantling of pirate radio stations and stop interviews with such poisonous media outlets as they are causing polarization in our country and they should dismantle the parallel government structures being run by CIA and MI6 agents from puppet Tsvangi's office.
If, therefore, there should be anyone to blame it should be Tsvangirai and his puppet party because Mangoma was not present at the meeting called by his stooge boss when they should have know better that he should not have scheduled any other programme except negotiations.
In any case Tsvangirai was instructed by His Excellency the President and Head of State of the Republic of Zimbabwe and Commander-In-Chief of the Zimbabwe Armed Forces, Cde R.G. Mugabe, to meet negotiators but instead he deliberately left one of his negotiators, Mangoga, to absent himself from that crucial meeting, WHY? He (Tsvangi) and his party ALONE, and no one else, are to blame for the delay.
I find it interesting how you have pointed out how the "puppet" Tsvangrai and MDC Factions have been missing these meetings, and how
"In any case Tsvangirai was instructed by His Excellency the President and Head of State of the Republic of Zimbabwe and Commander-In-Chief of the Zimbabwe Armed Forces, Cde R.G. Mugabe, to meet negotiators but instead he deliberately left one of his negotiators, Mangoga, to absent himself from that crucial meeting, WHY? He (Tsvangi) and his party ALONE, and no one else, are to blame for the delay."
Well if this president was so excellent, there would be no need to hold these talks, because he would have long given up power to the rightful people, and he would have what all honorable men do by upholding their word. Dont let the wool be pulled over your eyes, when you can see that only 'sell outs' there are in Zimbabwe are the Zanu-PF people who are addicted to power, wealth at the expense of the poor and absolutely no loyalty to the people of Zimbabwe. How many times has our "Excellency the President and Head of State of the Republic of Zimbabwe and Commander-In-Chief of the Zimbabwe Armed Forces, Cde R.G. Mugabe" stalled talks so many times, and frustrated talks so oft that we have lost count. In fact the silliness of the whole situation, is that the leadership of Zimbabwe has been arguing over who will rule for years, instead of doing the job of governing for the people. From day one, all Zanu PF have ever done is concentrated on divide and rule, and entrenching themselves from the enemy of 'the west', and never truly cared about it's people.
So open your eyes, and realize the true nature of the government of your 'excellency'. Don't be fooled, he has no interest in sharing power, or governing his people. Isn't it ironic that Mandela who ruled for one single term, has so many more books written about him, that are much wider and thicker and full of wisdom, as opposed to the one or two small, sharp books that outline the nature of Mugabe. Yet he still wants to rule as an octagenerian...
Open your eyes, and don't be fooled.
Joshua;
My eyes are wide open; that is why I am able to see sellouts when I meet them. That is also why I am able to see that President Mugabe is the most consistent and persistent leader Africa has had since the first country got independence in Africa.
My eyes are wide open; that is why I can tell who has been procrastinating since the GPA was signed on 15 Sept'08. It was not President Mugabe who exiled himself in Botswana for 5 months thereby stalling the implementation of the GPA. I am able to see who has not fulfilled one single outstanding issue of the GPA.
President Mugabe has done all that was required of him to do and the ball is now in the sellout's court. Sanctions which the stooge campaigned for are still there, pirate radio stations are churning out worse hate speeches than before and a parallel government structure has been established in the puppet's office.
All these in contravention of the GPA which clearly states that there should never be any form of interference, covert or overt, from any quota whatsoever. It states clearly that Tsvangirai has to campaign for the removal of the sanctions he called for in the first place. The GPA clearly states that all pirate radio stations should be dismantled because they are polarizing our country much further than before.
So you see muninina Joshua that I am not being fooled at all!!!
Takunya also believes that Mugabe is the most democratic leader in Africa, and that the CIA invented homosexuality and spread it to Africa.
Joshua, there is plenty of room for opposition parties in Zimbabwe and especially that of Tsvangirai! Tsvangirai makes a good case for Freedom of speech and liberty! That does not make him a puppet!
Zimbabwe will never develop with the same ideas of Mugabe the last 28 years. Zimbabwe badly needs new leaders. Let's not forget, that Tsvangirai won the elections...This means he has a good support base..And I think that is a good thing!!
Also you fail to acknowledge that it it were not for the GNU, Zimbabwe would have continued to go down..But thanks to the MDC's they inspired hope for all Zimbabweans and especially the international community to support the starving and disease riddled Zimbabweans.
It is absolutely not true that MDC-T is a stoog of the USA. The GNU gov't with MDC has brought some hope to Zimbabwe and it is not the "Big" colonial talk by Zanu-pf and Mugabe!!!!
