A 30-year-old woman was murdered, allegedly by her boyfriend, at Khorixas on Tuesday afternoon, the Police have reported.
The suspect (30) allegedly kicked Thercia Khamses repeatedly in the stomach outside Millebells Bottle Store. She died at the scene.
It believed the murder took place in full view of the town's residents but no one came to Khamses's rescue.
The suspect has been arrested.
In another case of violence against a woman, Hileni Nakanyala is being treated in the Katutura State Hospital after her boyfriend allegedly chopped off her right hand with a panga.
The incident happened in Windhoek's Havana informal settlement.
The Namibian understands that the suspect was arrested on Wednesday and is set to appear in court today.
A 27-year-old man was stabbed to death after an argument with elderly man on Saturday at !Ae Tama !Goas settlement, Gobabis.
NamPol's Acting Omaheke Regional Commander, Chief Inspector Petrus Swartz, has confirmed the incident to Nampa.
He said the late Ebson Kandjii owed the suspect N$25, and this is believed to have sparked the fight.
