Nigeria: Yar'Adua Returns to Saudi Hospital

Abuja — President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua will leave Abuja today for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In a statement issued yesterday by the Presidential spokesman Mr Segun Adeniyi, the Nigerian leader while in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is expected to contact his medical doctors for his routine medical check up

The President's trip to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which is the third in recent times is scheduled to last about one week. The last one was in August 14 this year.

The four paragraph statement by Adeniyi, indicated that the President will leave Abuja today for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The statement noted: "While there, the President will call on his personal physicians in Jeddah for follow-up medical checks".

Adeniyi said the President had already forwarded copies of the 2010 National Appropriation Bill to the Senate President and the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Last month it was reported that the President visited a hospital in Rome while attending the G8 meeting.

Also during his recent state visit to Egypt, he was said to have met with doctors flown in from Germany. He reportedly spent four days in the care of the German doctors.
