Rwanda: German Hip Hop Artists Rock Kigali

Kigali — A group of four German hip hop artists, on Monday night rocked their Kigali fans at Goethe-Institute, Social Recreational Centre (CSR), Kacyiru.

The two-hour marathon Hip Hop concert offered good relax after a long day.

The night had thrilling performances with appealing dance moves that made the night memorable to all hip hop lovers.

There was also entertainment by local artists : Lil G, K8 Kavuyo, Riderman, DMS, and Diplomat, they performed one after the other, thus leaving their fans longing for more and screaming their lungs out.

In an interview with The New Times, the director of Goethe-Institute, a German Culture Centre in Kigali, Karin Kathöfer, said that the main aim for the concert was to promote the culture of hip hop in Rwanda, and to strengthen the cooperation between Rwandan hip hop artists and the German artists.
