Rwanda: U-19 Cricketers Suffer Second Defeat

Kigali — RWANDA yesterday succumbed to a second successive defeat at the on-going Africa U-19 Girls tournament in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

After posting a paltry 49runs for six wickets, the Kenyans sailed home in 10 overs and for the loss of two wickets.

On Monday, the debutants had a harsh welcome to the event after suffering a humiliating nine-wicket defeat against defending champions Uganda. The team was bowled out for 39 runs and then the Ugandans chased down the runs in eight overs.

Today, the team hopes to up its performance when they clash with tournament guests Zambia.
