In answer to a question, Dr. Adamu said the NFF Board is hundred percent satisfied with the performance of the Super Eagles handler, Shuaibu Amodu, hence he was given the nod to lead the squad to the 2010 Nations Cup and the World Cup in South Africa.

However, another board member, Stephen Gyebgon said Amodu's contract which was to take the country up to the semi-final of the Africa Cup of Nations in Angola could be reviewed if the coach's performance in Angola is not satisfactory.

He also said if the issue of hiring a Technical Adviser for the national team crops up in future, the NFF Board would sit, discuss and take a decision on it that would be in the best interest of the nation.

"The Nigeria Football Federation Board can still review the situation after the Nations Cup in Angola if Amodu's performances at the Nations Cup are not to our satisfaction.

"Again, if the case of the need for a Technical Adviser comes up, we will sit, talk and take a decision that will be in the interest of the nation's football and the nation", Gyebgon stated.
