Budding middleweight boxer Ramadhani Kido will face Kaminja Ramadhan in a non -title bout that will be held at AMREF Mwananyamala Youth Centre on Saturday.

Bout organiser Ibrahim Kamwe said the duo would fight in a boxing gala that is meant to celebrate Eid El Hajji.

Kamwe said both fighters were undergoing strenuous exercises ahead of the eight-round bout, which will be under supervision of the Pugilistic Syndicate of Tanzania.

The promoter disclosed that Kido was one of the most talented boxers since he has yet to lose a bout in two years.

However, Kido will have an uphill task to prove that his previous victories were no fluke when he takes on Kaminja who has won two recent bouts and bowed out once.

"We except the bout to be very exciting since both boxers have been posting impressive results lately," he said.

Apart from the main fight, Lucas Bernard will have a date with Mbwana Ally in the six-round middleweight bout.

Other undercard bouts will pit Shaaban Madilu against Bakari Mackenzie who will exchange blows in the six-round flyweight bout while Sadat Miyeyusho will have a tough bout against Ally Hassan in the same category.
