Namibia: Pick 'N Pay Revamped At Auas Valley

THE Ohlthaver and List Group on Wednesday launched its revamped Pick 'n Pay supermarket at Auas Valley in Windhoek, which now boasts a larger range of products like clothing, German delicatessen and, in true Namibian fashion, the all-important coffee shop.

Windhoek Mayor Matheus Shikongo officiated at the ceremony.

In his address, Berthold Mukuahima, O & L Director for Human Capital, said that the group was well on track with its 'Growth through Change 2011' strategy.

"We orientate ourselves on the institutionalisation of customer feedback mechanisms and running customer surveys to measure our success. Our network has expanded dramatically over the last couple of years with the opening of several new stores."

Henry Feris, Managing Director of Pick 'n Pay Namibia, reiterated the company's commitment to product innovation, price, expansion and good service.

"Auas P&P is most certainly now a flagship shop with an even greater range of products, new departments such as wine, clothing and German delicatessen. The coffee shop is most certainly destined to become a hit."
