Gambia: KMC Field Inspector On Anti-Littering Law

Buba Sillah, the KMC field inspector, has expressed concern over the illegal dumping of refuse in the Kanifing Municipality.

According to him, people illegally dump their refuse in the streets, which is against the Anti-littering law. Shopkeepers, he said, also contribute to this as they do not have dustbins in their shops.

He urged people to take care of the wastes stressing that KMC and NEA will not compromise with the Anti-Littering law, especially when someone is found dumping waste. Â"The continuous littering in the streets is still raising concern among people particularly the authorities.
