Ghana: Reha Medical Group Deepens Corporate Social Responsibility

Reha Medical Group Limited, a leading importer of health equipment into Ghana and other countries in Africa has presented a sponsorship package to the Medical Students' Exchange Programme.

This forms part of the company's corporate social responsibility strategy aims improving healthcare delivery in the country. Presenting a return airline ticket to Ms. Estella Bilson-Amoah, a level 600 student of the University of Ghana Medical School at well-attended ceremony in Accra, the General Manager In-charge of Sales and Marketing of the Reha Medical Group, Mr. Benedict Akwetey added that the sponsorship formed part of the company's commitment to education in the country.

The support of the programme will enable the beneficiary to go to Poland for attachment to a reputable hospitable in that country to acquaint herself with new technology in all aspects of medical diagnosis and management.

He asked the beneficiary to take the sponsorship as an opportunity to help in improving the system after graduation.

Instructively, the Group has been involved in the sponsorship of the programme over the past decade and it has benefited a lot of students from the Medical Schools in Ghana
