Luanda — The Angolan Government Friday in Luanda appointed an inter-sectoral commission coordinated by the Foreign ministry, to draft reports on human rights.
Approved at the Cabinet Council session, the commission includes several ministries, and can also receive contributions from representatives of the National Assembly, of the attorney general, Ombudsman and civil society.
According to a note from the meeting, the inter-sectoral commission is tasked with gathering all necessary information at national level to draft the reports.
At the same meeting, the Government suspended for a 60 days period the signing of contracts involving public investment expenditures by the public institutions, including ministries, departments of state, provincial governments, public institutes and companies and autonomous funds.
