Luderitz — 'Tuhafeni' meaning "let's rejoice" is the title of the Losted Son's debut album.
According to Willem Nambodi, the mastermind behind the release, 'Tuhafeni' is a proud accomplishment. The album features eight soulful, inspiring and joyous tracks.
Nambodi declared that 'Tuhafeni' would encourage and cheer listeners to a whole different, stimulating level.
"This album might be the first, but it's definitely not the last. This is just the beginning of many more to come. The aim is to expand the group into a massive choir. 'Tuhafeni' is filled with worship and praise tracks. We want to honour the Lord for the inspiration and endless blessings, because without Him we would not have been able to survive the hardships of the world. Without Him, we would truly perish," said Nambodi.
The Album, which has been recorded and mastered with Namshoes Production, promised to be innovative, exciting and a marketing tool for the group's future releases.
The Losted Son was born in Lüderitz last year and consists of Willem, Penny, Martha and Phillip who are committed to promote their talent, music and continue to praise the Lord for the reward of knowing Him.
According to the group, their biggest challenge during the recording process of their album was studio time; however through their persistence, perseverance and the help of the Lord, they finished their first album successfully.
Nambodi said the main message on the album is to give your life to the Lord, because that is the greatest reward ever.
"Let's stop the hating, hurting and destroying other people's lives and start building, loving and supporting each other. Let's start showing that we care and maintain our diversity, let's value our differences without being indifferent to one another, let's share His love," he said.
