I will write from my heart. Not that I have ever written from my lungs. I hope you get the point. No planning. No notes. This is as plain as it will ever get. This title came to me seven minutes ago as I was walking about. And then, a thought came to me, "Yeah, everyone can create their future"
I remember watching part of a Dvd by a lady who is a GNLD distributor. The lady was talking about how she set a goal to own a plot in Entebbe and it happened. She wanted to rise to a certain level in the business and it happened like clockwork. Of course she had to work hard.
It's not like she just dreamt of things, sat back and waited for the magic to happen. She had created her future. I believe you can do the same. The challenge with creating the future is that it's in the future and yet sometimes we want things now. Not just now, sometimes it's like you wanted it yesterday.
And the other trick with creating your future is patience. Patience may make you uncomfortable but it usually pays. What I normally tell people is the most important thing is good health. If you are in good shape physically, it gives you a ticket to wait and allow things to happen.
Besides patience, you must be clear. The lady I am referring to wanted a plot of land. Not anywhere, it had to be in Entebbe and that's what she got. In other words, she was very clear towards what she wanted. God won't give you what you haven't defined in exact terms. The universe won't deliver goodies you have not defined.
Once you are clear, you have to commit to do whatever it takes. Call it price. Call it sacrifice. There has to be something you are willing to bring to the table. What amuses me is I sometimes see people who want to be promoted and yet they are not willing to report early to work and put in extra effort that would earn them great plaudit and the promotion.
You had better believe it's possible. If you are in the negative mood and the language is that of "I can't", then nothing will happen. Or at least little will happen at the end of the day. Keep believing and trusting. Keep persistent until your dream comes to pass. One of the glaring differences between human beings and animals is that animals act on instinct. Human beings have a choice. You and I have a choice. To design our own future or let the future design us. What's your choice?
The good news is if you choose to design a future and commit to making it happen, then, there is a great chance that it will happen. I strongly believe that you can make it happen. How do I know? This is the path or something related that dream builders have followed. You can follow the path to design your future dream or you can follow a path that goes nowhere and you will end up somewhere. If you don't, you would have lived your life by chance rather than design. It's by accident rather than intention. You deserve a great future. Design it.
