Tunis — An official ceremony was held Monday during which President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali received Eïd El Idha greetings from the Prime Minister, the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies , the Speaker of the Chamber of Advisers, the members of the Constitutional Democratic Rally politburo, the members of the government , the Mufti of the republic and the imam preachers of "Ezzitouna" mosque and "El Abidine" mosque.

The Head of State also received the greetings of the secretary-generals of political parties, the chairman of national organisations, consultative councils and official bodies as well as the heads of diplomatic missions of Islamic countries accredited in Tunis and several national officials.(TAP)
