The forces of the Islamic administration of Wanlaweyn district in Lower Shabelle region have captured a woman who murdered her husband in there in southern Somalia, officials told Shabelle radio on Tuesday.

Residents said that the woman and her husband disputed for a while which lastly caused the woman to stab the man on the heart and kill him adding that the Islamist fighters of Wanlaweyn district had rushed to the area of the accident as they head the news and detained the murderer.

Residents expressed surprise about the killing action and the latest reports say that the woman is custody in Wanlaweyn district in southern Somalia.

The Islamist officials told reporters that the woman will be brought before Islamic court and sentenced with the Sharia law for the following days.

It is the first time that such killing happen in southern Somalia since the Islamic administration of Harakat Al-shabab Mujahideen took over the control of whole area in southern Somalia.
