Ghana: Court Orders BNI to Produce Detained Soldiers

A Human Rights court in Accra has ordered the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) to come and explain the continuous detention, and whereabouts, of four soldiers allegedly held over the murder of Rocco Frimpong, the former Deputy Director of the Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB).

The court, presided over by Justice Irene Danquah, yesterday further ordered the Attorney-General (A-G) to explain in writing, the reasons behind their incarceration.
