Tunis — In a bit to expand its network, the Tunisian "GTT" company established through its new department "Ferries", a regular passenger shipping between Tunisia and Libya through the "Car Ferry Habib".

"GTT Company" is specialized in providing services specifically designed for business transport, logistics and transit.

The line will start work on December 11, 2009. Three regular departures from Sfax are provided each week as well as shuttles from Tunis to Sfax.

Prices vary between 40 and 440 dinars depending on the service.

It is worth noting that Tunisia and Libya are the biggest trading partners in the Maghreb, the Arab world and Africa and this project will certainly contribute to boost economy of both countries.
