Mogadishu — A Somali man has executed his wife in Wadajir district in the Somalia capital Mogadishu after seeing her having pregnancy for another man, witnesses and officials told Shabelle radio on Wednesday.

Reports say the man was absent from the country for a while and returned to Mogadishu where his family lived and slaughtered his wife on Tuesday night as he confirmed that she married another man and had had a pregnancy for him.

"The murder was absent from the country and he heard that his wife was a wife for another man. When he returned back to the country, he saw his wife being pregnant and lived to one of the neighborhoods of Wadajir district in south Mogadishu. Then he executed her," said one of the resident women.

Ahmed Hassan Adow known as (Ahmed Da'i), Wadajir district commissioner of the transitional Federal Government whom we had contacted with to know more about the accident, told Shabelle radio that they heard the event adding that they did not search yet pointing out that they would search it.

A woman with two men has no base for the Islamic religion.

More Somali people expressed surprise as they heard the heartbreak event happened in the Somali capital Mogadishu overnight and it is the first such action of killing happens in the capital recently.
