Newly crowned SK East winners Ball Conge, kept their second division hopes alive after easing pass Rising Stars 2-1 at the SK East mini-stadium on Monday.
Starting with a much change line-up, and having lost their key playmakers to the SK East zonal team, Ball Conge were able to cruise over rising star before a low turnout and didn't take them long to break the jinx, thanks to a Samba Colley's opener that spared his side's blushes after they squandered many opportunities earlier.
