Kenya: Huge Fire Kills Seven Somalis, Wounds Three Others in Nairobi

Somalia — At least 7 Somalis have been killed and 3 others haven been wounded after a huge fire set a house at Eisli neighborhood in the Kenyan capital Nairobi, witnesses told Shabelle radio on Saturday.

Reports say that the inferno started on Saturday morning as an electric affected one of the buildings in Eisli neighborhood in Nairobi that more Somalis lived killing seven people including children, wounding several others there.

The people died in the accident were three girls and young babies who were all in the building as the fire started the castle which was a home for those who lost their lives as electricity changed to huge blaze and devastated most the building.

More Somalis at the neighborhood expressed shocking about the miraculous accident happened to Somali people in Nairobi and rushed to the wounded ones to a hospital.

It is not the first time that such event happen in Nairobi, but the fire which resulted in the electricity connected to the house came, just as it was raining heavily today in the Kenyan capital Nairobi.
