Kampala — SCIENTISTS at the National Crop Resources Research Institute, Namulonge, have fenced off six hectares of land in Kasese district to conduct research on genetically modified maize.
The site, located at Mubuku irrigation scheme, will be used for testing drought-tolerant maize.
