Kampala — VETERINARY authorities in Amuru district have imposed a quarantine on the movement of cattle following an outbreak of contagious bovine pleuropneumonia in four sub-counties.
The district veterinary officer, Dr. James Okwir, said the affected sub-counties were Purongo, Anaka, Alero and Amuru where the disease has killed about 30 cows so far.
