Uganda: Health Expands Kamuli Midwifery School

Kampala — THE Ministry of Health has embarked on a multi-billion project of expanding St. Joseph's Kamuli Midwifery Training School. After completion, the school will have the capacity to upgrade both male and female registered and comprehensive nurses.

The project that kicked off in August is co-funded by the Danish International Development Agency in conjunction with the Catholic Diocese of Jinja.

The Kamuli Mission Hospital administrator, Sister Gilda Pacuwegi, said the project would cost over sh2.2b.
