Gambia: Bodies of Drowned Students Found

The dead bodies of the late Omar Bun Sonko and Ebrima Ceesay, students from Tallinding Lower Basic School, who were reported to have drowned in the river at Tallinding last Monday, were on Wednesday December 16th 2009 founded.

Eyewitnesses told the Daily Observer that the dead body of the late Omar Bun Sonko was the first to be seen at the Tallinding river side. He was laid to rest at the Tallinding cemetery on the same day.

Eyewitnesses also revealed that part of Ebrima Ceesay's body was eaten by the fish in the river. He was founded at the Old Jeshwang river side and was buried in Tallinding. It could be recalled that the two students were drowned at the Tallinding river on Monday while searching for baobab fruits.
