Windhoek — The Tumaini Gospel Group has released its first CD titled Journey to the Throne.

The group that initially consisted of Daniel Kavishe and Oscar Muyambo, has added two vocalists, Mellissa Shamba and Faith Kavishe, to give the sound more body.

Tumaini, (the message of hope) describes themselves as a Namibian gospel music brand established in late 2008.

It operates under the record label established by Oscar Muyambo, known as 'Madlab Music Productions, his brainchild.

The group at present consists of three prominent figures, Oscar, who acts as producer, composer and songwriter, Daniel, main vocalist, Melissa and Faith, vocalists.

"Our group aims to spread the wonderful word of God in a melodic and powerful manner through which the people who listen will appreciate the value and meaning of God's Word. With our sub-motto being hope, love, faith and peace, we hope the listeners will be enriched with all these virtues now and forever, for only through these can peace of mind be achieved," the group said about their new 12-cut release.
