In his testimony, Dr Hassan recalled that on August 10, 2009 he was called to the Peace Corps Clinic, where he met the alleged victim in tears and the nurses in charge told him that the victim was assaulted, raped and robbed at the beach. The gynaecologist said he conducted an examination and found out that the victim had a lot of bruises on her arm and legs.

Dr Hassan told the court that the alleged victim was extremely stressed psychologically and nervous. The medical doctor further told the court that he examined the victim based on the Peace Corps procedure and wrote a report. When asked by prosecution counsel, Lawyer Buba Bojang to explain to the court his findings Dr Hassan Azadeh indicated that there was a laceration at the entrance of the victim's virgina as a result of a force. Dr Azadeh explained that some semen of spermatozoa was found inside the virgina. Hearing continues on January 20, 2010 for the accused to open his defence.
