Nigeria: Anambra - ADC Candidate Pledges 400,000 Jobs

Onitsha — The African Democratic Congress, ADC, candidate for the 6 February 2010 governorship election in Anambra State, Chief Okey Nwosu, yesterday said he would provide 400,000 jobs for the youths and unemployed university graduates within four years if elected Governor of the state.

Speaking with reporters in his campaign office, Nwosu said the provision of jobs for the unemployed in the state was the first step towards tackling armed robbery and kidnapping, which now reigns supreme in Anambra State.
