At least 11 people have been killed and more than 10 others have been wounded in Mogadishu after heavy shelling started in parts of the capital, witnesses told Shabelle radio on Monday.
Residents said that most of the shelling were landing in the north neighborhoods of the capital as there was no fighting between the two rival sides in the capital adding that most of the dead or injured people were civilians who were in their houses in Mogadishu.
