Jos — After reviewing the security situation in Jos and Bukuru metropolis, Governor Jonah Jang of Plateau State has approved the review of the current 24-hour curfew to now start from 5.00 p.m. to 10.00 a.m.

A statement by the state Commissioner for Information and Communications, Gregory Nyelong, said the decision to review the earlier curfew hours was done in conjunction with the security council of the state after it met to review the prevailing security situation on the ground.

The State Security Council, he said, has also suspended the use of motorcycles (okada) within Jos and bukuru metropolis until further notice, saying the measure was taken to sustain the peace and security efforts of the government in the prevailing breach of peace and security in Jos and Bukuru.

Jang commended the people for their sacrifices, patience, understanding and commitment to sustenance of peace building process.

Since the useless coming into power calling himself Governor has been bragging and ignoring elders, Security alerts. his lack of vision has failed him and he has nothing to build the people confidence. While some claiming that Jos belong to them proud that the are the indegene of that state, no any religious islam or christianity accept what foolish are doing some claiming that the governor should try his possible to minimise the rate of Muslim in the state that is rubbish.

I think the Muslim in the northern part of the country should be held responsible responsible for the recent and past uprisings in jos the capital city of plateau state and its environs and if this is not put to check this would bring this beloved country of ours in a serious and an uncompromising state. those suspects caught should be punished including the sponsors of those crises, because you can not tell me an almagiri has the money to purchase high powered ammunitions in which they use against the Christians in jos. Those people sponsoring those crises should have a rethink it would turn over to them.

"why start what you cant finish"? its a shame nigerian "poor" muslims see disturbing the peace of nigerian states an avenue of getting rich.they simply loot, rape and kill, while the instigators(sponsors) "rich muslims" give arms and ammunitions while their sons are busy sipping juice and eating suya in airconditioned rooms in their homes. i blame our government! Gov. jonah jang cannot be blamed for the insecurity of his state.nigerian muslims must be cultured and must respect the God given breath in human. a typical shameful example is the now famous "pampers/pant bomber" Farouk muttalab. is he not a northerner(muslim)was that what the holy quaran teaches? why say islam is a religion of peace? when the hausas always spark fire in a free and great country like nigeria with diverse religion.if a non muslim tears a paper written in arabic , a nigerian foolish muslim will attack him because he thinks its a page from the holy quaran. ask him to read the torn paper, he definately cant, because poverty and poverty stricken mallams(clerics) have polluted his mind.
