Tunis — The "Web design International Festival" (WIF 2010) will be held from January 30 to 31, 2010 in Nabeul, the capital of the Cap Bon region. Set up in 2009, the event is gathering momentum, attracting more people each year.
The event aims at gathering more creators in the sectors of new technologies, to make better known Tunisian Web design, as well as providing contacts between professionals and companies operating in the sector.
Competitions on web creation, communications in terms of web design and a workshop for young promoters to create innovative projects using new information and communication technologies, are on the agenda of the event.
Web agency exhibitors, operators of telecommunications, Internet service providers, and multimedia training schools are also scheduled to take part in this edition.
The traditional "Webjam" preselection of the "WIF"combines web designers, developers and Internet lovers. It aims at creating an on line dynamic and interactive Web interface.
During 24 hours nonstop, 10 teams composed of 2 or 3 people each, will compete for 35,000 Euros of prize money. The jury will select the best 2 teams that will participate in June 2010 to "Web design International Festival" in Limoges (France).
Conferences on Interactive Design, Web design, new technologies and the latest graphic trends, as well as new developments in technology are also scheduled.
