Top Ugandan reggae musician Bebe Cool a.k.a Moses Sali is in Nsambya Hospital after being shot at a city hangout last night. The bullets shattered both his legs, the hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Martin Nsubuga says.

The accounts of the shooting at Effendys, a popular city hangout in Centenary Park, are still contradicting. Three other people, two of them Bebe Cool's guards and the other a Special Police Constable, were also injured.

All victims are reported to be in "serious but stable" medical condition. Our team is working on the story and details will be published in the Sunday Monitor.
