Nigeria: 'Global Collaboration Can Curb Terrorism'

Osogbo — A professor of International Relations, Professor Alade Fawole, yesterday said it is only through active bilateral cooperation and collaboration that both Nigeria and United States can resolve problems of terrorism globally.

Fawole, who made the observation at a lecture titled, "International Diplomacy and the Challenge of Terrorism," to mark second Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola birthday lecture series, said the bad blood generated by the Farouk Muttalab terrorist act was a global problem which is not amenable to individual solutions by any single country, no matter how powerful.
