Nigeria: 2011 - Yuguda Warns PDP Against Imposition

Bauchi — Bauchi State Governor, Malam Isa Yuguda, has charged officials of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to refrain from imposition of candidates during the 2011 general elections to ensure a level-playing ground for all contestants.

The governor made the charge while receiving the former All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) State chairman, Alhaji Haruna Musa Shitu, Alhaji Garba Sarki Akuyam and former state chairman of Action Congress (AC), Alhaji Maikano, who defected to PDP at the IBB Square in Bauchi.
