Fiapre — Information available to The Chronicle has it that the Regional Hospital in Sunyani is in huge debt, due to irregular reimbursements from the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) to its suppliers.
The debt situation has affected the financial base of the hospital, and is making it difficult for it to procure basic logistics and inputs to work with, since suppliers are not ready to sell on credit to them.
