Uganda: Govt to Disarm Private Security Firms

Kampala — Government is considering withdrawing fire arms from private security firms.
State minister for internal affairs Matia Kasaija says some officers from private security organisations have been implicated in using their guns to robe and kill innocent people.
Kasaija said private security companies will now have to use batons to carry out their work.
