Nigeria: Exchange of Old Coca-Cola Bottles Continues

Lagos — Coca-Cola Nigeria Limited and its bottling partners, Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC) Plc, have confirmed that the exchange of old Coke bottles for the newly introduced ultra glass bottles is still on. Consequently, dealers can continue to exchange their old bottles for the ultra glass bottles at purchase.

A joint statement by the two companies and made available to Sunday Champion thanked consumers in Lagos for their overwhelming acceptance of the new ultra glass bottle following its introduction in October 2009. The statement further encouraged consumers to continue to exchange the old Coke bottles in their homes in order to get the ultra glass experience.
