Ughelli — CHAIRMAN, Elders Council of the Urhobo Consultative Forum, UCF, Chief G.N.O. Sefia has charged ward executives to work in harmony with all members of the group to achieve the aims and objectives of the forum.
Sefia, who spoke during the inauguration of ward executives of the forum in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, told them to work in peace with Governor Uduaghan's government in the promotion of good governance in the state.
He enjoined the people to abide by the guiding principles of the forum, which according to him, were to network for the dividends of democracy on behalf of the Urhobo people and promote good neighbourliness among Urhobo and other ethnic groups in the state.
Restating the support of the forum for the Uduaghan administration, which he said was one of the policy thrusts of the group, he charged them to always be loyal to the Dr. Uduaghan-led Delta State government.
Also speaking during the ceremony, Mr Oputu and Mr. Henry Sakpra, Chairman, Udu Local Government Area, noted that the UCF and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, were working together towards achieving one goal.
Among those sworn in as ward executive members in Udu are Mr. Robert Balance, Kenneth Igbru, Matthew Benngiren, Sunday Subi, Refo Morrison, Matthew Uparan, Jonathan Tuomeru, Orogun Joseph and Wilson Ojakovo.
