The Tema Country Golf Club (TCGC) comes alive this Saturday when some of the nation's fine golfers gather to battle for primacy in the Captain's Prize at the Club. The 18-medal non-Pros play is put together by Mr. Kwaku Okyere, TCGC's captain, and it is expected to draw amateur players from Achimota, Celebrity, Bok Nam Kim and other interested golf clubs.

A statement signed by TCGC's manager, Mr. Eben Adablanu reveals that the registration for the forthcoming competition by the golfers has so far been impressive and is looking forward to yet another great competition, few weeks after a successful Lady Captain's Prize at the Club.

Likely to feature in Saturday's competition are Mrs. Adelaide Owusu-Adjapong, Mrs Florence "Lady Scientific" Etwi-Barimah, Mrs. Mona Captan Myers Lamptey, Mrs. Owusu-Baah, Esi Cobbinah, Clara Price, Kweku Okyere, Mike Aggrey, E.T.Mensah and Frank Etwi-Barimah, among others.

As usual, trophies and other souvenirs will be available for golfers who demonstrate excellence.
