Nigeria: Commitment to Maternal And Child Mortality Informs MCC --Governor. Fashola

Lagos — GOVERNOR Babatunde Raji Fashola of Lagos has stated that the commitment of his administration to the attainment of the Millennium Development Goals 4 and 5 informed the building of eight Maternal and Child Centres (MCC) across the state.

The Millennium Development Goal 4 centers on the reduction by two third, between 1990 and 2015, the under-five mortality rate while MDG 5 focuses on the reduction by three quarters, between 1990 and 2015, the maternal mortality ratio.
