Nigeria: Edo Indigenes Abroad Flay Withdrawal of JTF Soldiers

Lagos — Umbrella body of Edo state indigenes' associations abroad, the Edo Leadership Assembly (ELA), has added its voice to the wave of protests against the recent order to exit Edo State of soldiers attached to the Joint military Task Force (JTF) in the state by the Federal government It called on the Presidency to immediately re-deploy the withdrawn JTF soldiers.

The socio-cultural group in a statement made available to Daily Champion, and signed by its Vice President of Publicity, Joan-Osa Oviawe, expressed concern over the immediate and long term implications on the security of lives and properties in the State.
