Johannesburg — THE government said yesterday PetroSA's 9bn Project Mthombo was "on track", providing a fillip for SA's biggest crude oil refinery to be built as scheduled.
Although Department of Energy spokeswoman Zodwa Batyashe would only say, "Nothing has changed in terms of project plans", the assurance is likely to ease fear s that its commissioning by 2014 will not go ahead as planned and be delayed like Eskom's Kusile power plant.
