The Nigeria Football Federation has commenced the payment of six million and nine hundred thousand naira (N6.9m) owed to 20 players and officials of El-Kanemi Warriors football club of Maiduguri over the years.
NFF Assistant General Secretary (Competitions), Dr. Sanusi Mohammed, who supervised the payment of the outstanding allowance to the aggrieved players, said NFF is determined to ensure that all other clubs with pending arbitration cases would be made to settle outstanding allowances of players and officials.
