Abuja — A bill that seeks to stimulate investment in petroleum refineries in the country yesterday passed through a second reading on the floor of the House of Representatives.
The bill which was sponsored by Hon. Emmanuel Oyeyemi Adedeji is entitled "A bill for an Act to prescribe investment in petroleum refineries as a condition for licensing and operation of oil producing companies in Nigeria, 2010" and was referred to the House Committee on Petroleum (Upstream) for further consideration.
