Nigeria: Senate Threatens to Sanction Magnus Kpakol

The Senate Committee on Public Accounts has threatened to sanction the Co-ordinator of the National Poverty Eradication Programme (NAPEP) Mr. Magnus Kpakol for failing to respond to queries of abuse of financial regulations by the Auditor General of Federation.

After refusing to appear before the committee on several occasions, Kpakol and his team failed to provide the Senate panel with responses to queries raised by the office of the Auditor General.
