Kampala — AFTER years of field extension work as a veterinary doctor, Dr. Schola Bwali finally decided to practice what she preached. She has now turned her half an acre of land into a demonstration site for hatching layers and broiler chicks using an incubator.
"As a civil servant, my expenditure was not matching with my expenditure. So I decided, instead of chasing vouchers at work daily, I could experiment with layer and broiler chicks for a steady income," said the vet from Kijungi village in Hoima district.
