Kenya: Nyagah's Tour of Milk Plants Sparks Row

Nairobi — There appeared to be no end to the woes facing dairy farmers as the exchange between key players degenerated into a war of words. The New Kenya Cooperative Creameries management criticised minister Joseph Nyagah's move to visit the company's plants without informing it.

Chairman Matu Wamae said junior employees had felt intimidated by the Cooperative Development minister's visit of New KCC factories in Eldoret and Kitale without informing the board or being accompanied by members.
