Bauchi — Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research , NISER, Ibadan, has organised a five-day capacity building workshop for participants from the six states in the North-east geo-political zone in Bauchi with the aim of providing them skills that will promote national development.
In his address at the opening of the training programme , Director General of NISER, Professor Tunji Akande, said the seminar will afford participants the opportunity to look at several policy and institutional frameworks set up to achieve targets of the Millenium Development Goals (MDGs) by 2015.
