Nigeria: 'Nation Needs Significant Investment in Higher Education'

Lagos — The Federal Government has been called upon to make a significant investment in higher education to cater for the increasing number of applicants who are denied access yearly.

Country Director of the British Council, Mr. David Higgs, who made this call during the Council's 7th Annual Education Exhibition in Lagos, said most Nigerians attend foreign universities because they could not get a place in universities in the country.
